
Reflections Ballet Mistress
Eva Lopez Crevillen received her professional training at the Escuela Superior de Arte Dramático y Danza in Madrid (class of Virginia Valero) and graduated with honors.
She danced with Ballet Lírico Nacional under the direction of Maya Plisetskaya, and her repertoire there included principal roles in such ballets as La fille mal gardeé, Raymonda, Swan Lake, and Sleeping Beauty, as well as George Balanchine's Four Temperaments, Theme and Variations, Agon, Serenade, and Concerto Barocco.
In 1990, when Nacho Duato was named Artistic Director of the company, Ballet Lírico Nacional was refashioned as Compaňia Nacional de Danza. Ms. Lopez Crevillen contemporary repertoire with the Company included numerous works by Nacho Duato (Jardí Tancat, Romeo y Julieta, Arenal, Ecos, Por Vos Muero, Duende), Glen Tetley (Voluntaries), Jirí Kylián (Return to the Strange Land, Forgotten Land, Petit Mort, Stepping Stones),William Forsythe (In the Middle Somewhat Elevated, The Vile Parody of Address, Herman Scherman), Hans van Manen, Ohad Naharin, (Arbos, Kyr), and others.
Ms. Lopez Crevillen has performed all over the world, participating in prestigious international festivals and galas. She was invited to dance the role of Albertine in the ballet "Proust ou Les Intermitences du Coeur" at the Maggio Musicale in Florence by Roland Petit.
She is currently a Professor of Dance and a Deputy Director at the Conservatorio Superior de Danza María de Ávila de Madrid. She has assisted Mr. Duato in staging his ballets for such companies as Royal Swedish Ballet, Universal Ballet in South Korea, Introdans, Lyon Opera Ballet, Staatsoper Hannover, among others.
Ms. Lopez Crevillen is a member of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of Murcia, Spain.
